Dear Prospective Food Vendor,
We are pleased to send you an application for the 8th annual Franklin Day. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Colonial Park, Somerset, NJ, from 12:00pm until 5:00pm in Lot C/Knob Hill Grove near the Children’s Playground. Due to the size and complexity of this one-day event no rain-date will be scheduled. Due to financial obligations and contractual commitments, there will be no refunds.

This is an outdoor community-wide celebration organized by the Franklin Day Committee, (FDC). The event features live entertainment, an art show, a classic car show, over 100 exhibitor tables with a wide range of artisans, culinary fare, businesses, service providers, community organizations, as well as a host of FREE attractions for children. The purpose of Franklin Day is to bring the community together while providing a showcase for Township businesses, industries, agencies, schools, community organizations and the amazing diversity that Franklin Township has to offer. As always, this event will be heavily promoted. The event has attracted a whopping 20,000+ residents and attendees from Franklin Township and neighboring communities! The Franklin Day Committee invites you to apply as a food vendor for this event.

Completed applications and payments should be returned no later than Friday, June 7, 2024, to reserve your space. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis after that date. We strongly recommend submitting applications as soon as possible. We look forward to your participation and to working with you on this event.

Additional Signatures Required

Please attach your Certificate of Insurance, picture of your display or food truck and your temporary food permit application.

1. A current and valid certificate of insurance. If you do not have one yet, please submit it via email to Franklin.Day@franklinnj.gov by August 21, 2020. The Certificate MUST name the Township of Franklin as the "additionally insured"

2. A photo of your booth display or food truck. If you do not have one yet, please mail your photo with your payment and application via email at Franklin.Day@franklinnj.gov.

3. Your temporary food establishment permit application (http://www.franklintwpnj.org/home/showdocument?id=8540).

 If you do not have the permit application complete, please mail it with your payment and application via email at Franklin.Day@franklinnj.gov.
