3a. Transportation
1. Many stores, banks, markets, or other places I need to go are within walking distance (1/2 mile or less) of my home.
2. There are safe sidewalks and crosswalks on most of the streets in my neighborhood. (Example: streets and sidewalks are well lit, sidewalks are in good condition and connected, there are regular crosswalks throughout my route)
3. There are places to bicycle in or near my neighborhood that are safe from traffic. (Example: designated bike lanes, bike trails, bike racks)
4. Public transportation (buses, shuttles, trains) stop in my neighborhood at convenient times.
5. Public buses and shuttles are well maintained.
