2025 Franklin Day Festival online Vendor Registration Application

We are pleased to invite you to become a participant in the 9th Annual Franklin Day! This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Franklin Township Municipal Complex, Somerset, NJ, from 12:00PM until 5:00PM. 
 
Franklin Day is a community-wide celebration featuring live entertainment, an art show, a classic car show, over 100 exhibitor tables, as well as a host of FREE attractions for children in a beautiful park setting. The purpose is to bring our diverse community together while providing a showcase for Township businesses, industries, agencies, schools, and community organizations.

    • By submitting this application, you agree to an inspection by the Franklin Township Department of Fire Prevention at your Franklin Day site.
    • You must complete the Mobile Enclosed Food Truck from the Office of Fire Prevention which is subject to a $85 fee made payable to Township of Franklin. Check must be separate from application fee.
    • Upon request, food vendors must show flammability certificate or manufacturer’s tag indicating flame retardant materials if using a tent. Documentation must always be available during the event.

    Certificate of Insurance

    Food Vendors are required to submit a current and valid Certificate of Insurance (COI) with their application. A Certificate of Insurance, which shall name the Township of Franklin additionally insured (in the Description of Operations area) in the amount of $1,000,000 per occasion and $100,000 property damage. The COI must be received with the application.

     

    TEMPORARY FOOD LICENSE

    • A Somerset County Department of Health, Temporary Food Establishment Permit, is required by all food vendors and is attached for your convenience.
    •  
    • By submitting this application, you agree to an inspection by the Somerset County Department of Health at your Franklin Day Event Site.

     

    • Each Temporary Food Establishment Permit is subject to a separate $75 fee made payable to Township of Franklin. Check must be separate from application fee.

    PAYMENT

    Completed applications with payments should be returned no later than AUGUST 22, 2025, to reserve your space. Applications will be processed on a first come, first serve basis after that date. Incomplete applications will not be accepted, and space will not be secured until payment is received. Method of payment accepted includes cash, credit card, check and money order only.     I understand my payment is non-refundable.

    I understand I must bring my own table, chair(s), and tent and that I/my staff am solely responsible for setup/breakdown of all my equipment. Setup/breakdown assistance from event staff will not be provided.

    I understand my tent must be properly secured. Tent weights are REQUIRED to ensure stability in the event of inclement weather. Tents may be located on grass or hard top surfaces so vendors should be prepared for either

    I understand that (excluding handicapped access needs) I cannot request a special booth location

    I understand there may be other vendors at the festival offering similar products/services as mine. The Franklin Day Committee cannot provide vendor exclusivity. To maintain a variety of offerings to attendees, the Franklin Day Committee also reserves the right to limit the number of vendors in each category

    I understand that I (not the committee) am responsible for contacting my management and/or internal representative to avoid brand duplication at the festival.

    I understand that NO external audio devices are allowed at my booth (e.g., megaphone, speakers, boom box, microphone, etc.)

    I understand that the non-profit discount rate is only available to those organizations with a 501c3 tax exempt status.  If I cannot provide a 501c3 tax exempt number, I will pay the business rate
